looks like a later zaskar frame as others above have said.

the earlier ones would have u brake mounts and the gusset would be under the toptube.

personally, i found it hard telling the difference between early avalanches and zaskars but it's the gusset location :shock: that tells them apart.

bit of elbow grease and you have that sparkling. i've only bothered polishing one up once - as it takes ages - and they do look well nice. worth it if you can be arsed.

That's clearly a fake. Look at the seat stays - they don't even meet the seat tube in the right place. It seems to have some kind of "third triangle".

I think it would polish up a treat ...

I sent the same email to GT vie hotwheels, to my surprise i just got a reply from a man called David Chancellor, (DChancellor@Pacific-Cycle) he confirmed that as tallpaul said its a late 2001 ZASKAR :D , but would not tell me any thin esl about it or whether or not i could get new decals from gt themselves, but that dont matter i know it is defoe a zaskar :D :D
