Just thought i'd post some info about my spooky that ive owned since about 2000 but has just had a major revamp. Ive just finshed today putting it back together, so gave it a quick wash and took some pics. (in the pics , its water on the frame, not runs in the paint)


frame: spooky bandwagon, jst been painted in pearl white
forks: Marzocchi z1 cr
Brakes: Hope C2 pro with custom discs
Stem: Azonic shorty
Bars Azonic chubby
Aheadset: Chris king
Seat: X-lite pss1
seat post: azonic
Seat clamp: Azonic
Cranks +BB: Profile bmx
Pedals: DMR v12
Chain guide: DMR
Rear mech: XTR
Cables : XTR 2009
Cassette: XTR
chain: Sachs
Shifter: XT
Wheels: sun rims rhino lite 24inch, on hope big un hubs
Tyres: IRC kujo
Grips: Primo 2009
Bar end plugs: snafu
Skewers: Hope 2009
Chainstay protector: raceface 2009


All but a few bits, its all age correct. Anything with 2009 is recent.Everythin else has been cleaned to as good as new as i can get.

No, its dirt days are well and truly over. Its currently in my spare room, where it'll stay forever. May go fo odd ride around the block though.

I got other stuff to use properly so this one can stay mint

I love it :) . I'm working on something like this myself but not quite so high spec. Just thinking about a wheel upgrade and going 24" is a possible choice.

cheers for the comments guys. Ill post up some pics of how it looks over the years, and some old riding pics when i get chance.

Next im gonna build a zaskar or hardtail kona. Watching ebay for something to come up.
