Have been wanting to build a bike like this for a while. I used to love JMC's M2 in Dirt and also Shaun Palmer's M2s in the late 90s.

In 2001/2 I rode an ex team MBUK M4 when I was working in Halfords and it felt great. Really snappy and like a big BMX.
I built this bike with all round riding in mind. Messing around the woods, tricks, BMX track, slalom, light downhill.
Spec is pretty obvious.
Rear wheel is a XTR hub, XT cassette. I'm changing the cranks to XTR M952 tomorrow and will soon be setting up a slalom MRP. I'm buying some Azonic 2.5" black bars to replace the gold. I'm not a fan of the lock ons and may get some Onza Ules.
