This is the bike that is going to get me back into MTB's after I go rid of the NuNu a few years back for beer and gun money...

A 17" Carrera Vulcan, picked up off of Ebay and crudely stripped by me
Rock Shox Psylo SL's, given a quick, basic service consisting of being stripped, lubed, oiled, bled etc.
Mach 1 disc/V rims on Deore disc hubs, 8spd shimano cassette and Wildgrippers F&R
Hope Mono Mini F&R with new hose for rear and bled. Need new pads, though.
XT M750 rear mech - need a hanger for this, though!
XT M749 (I think)) front mech
M739 RF+ units
A skanky square taper BB, but bearings seem OK
505 Shimano SPD's
On One post with a cheapo no name saddle perched on top
X-lite Risers
FSA stem
Toxsin grips

Need:
Semi-integrated headset - probably a Ritchy Comp
Chainset
Chain
SPD shoes!
New Mini pads F&R
Mech hanger

It's cheap, ugly (apart from the unintentional black and silver colour coding), but hopefully it'll work.

Black and silver are an age old combo that will always look cool

You need some decals to break up the frame a bit
and lose the saddle it just looks too fat[my opinion only]
Other than that ,it looks nice and clean

*retro

*A time that means retro to you ,will not be retro to others
but who cares

like what you done there

i think you should leave the decals, just give it a good polish :D

i had one back in 2006. they are surprisingly good bikes
