Having been around the MTB scene in the early 90's, I always wanted a clockwork.
When an article called 'Bike Porn' in Singletrack magazine showed the '07 limited edition Clockwork I knew I had to have one!

So, I did the decent thing and decided to spec my own bike.

Goodridge hoses and new pads after the back brake stuck on going round the gorlech trail in brecfa!

I'm very please with it, and having riden an '09 Specialized Stumpjumper elite, I know i've made the right choice!

Anyone know of a correct match for the Orange in car touch up paint as it's suffering from a few stone chips?

Note to self....don't be tempted by a raceface seatpost

Cool bike BTW.

Was tempted by one of these to replace my Caldera frame

Very nice.

That post failure is a bit worrying though!

As for touch up paint; you used to be able to get it in little kits direct from Orange so I'd try them first. ;)

Lovely bike

Really wanted one of those but my attempts fo find one were fruitless...rare as hens teeth!

To be fair they replaced the post under warranty.

Orange web site sugests car touch up paint?!?

Anyone know of any florro orange cars?

Thanks for the postive comments guys :D

If I had the cash though it would have been traded for the Vit T they released last year, but then again they only made 33!!

phone bob jackson(01132 559844) for the paint, they painted them so they should have touch up, mine's got a couple of chips aswel but luckily enough no where obvious. love the ride of mine too. just waiting on some new brakes for mine. mine is number 200 of 200

oh and jay at orange told me it was 20 vit t's, one for each year of production of orange bikes and the frame numbers were 1988/ 1989 /1990 etc + the prototype so 21 in total.

Top info there ;)

Post up yours man, did yoiu build it yourself or is it a pro or comp??

P.S where did you get your lime?

the clockwork i got from GA cycles, where i used to work. i built it myself, initially as a dayride set up then as arace set up, now it's a mix. the lime crosswork is a fort cyclocross bike painted by argos as a spoof orange! seems that everyone likes it! here's the clockwork in a couple of guises! it's as it is in the bottom pic but with raceface deus riser bar, stem and post with matching deus black chainset, i realized i wasn't racing anymore and i preferred the riser set up so went back to it. it's about to get some hope brakes aswel though.

You chaps have to stop showing your Clockwork's off 'cos I've got frame 125/200 sitting new in a box ready for a build. Have to finish my retro build before that so stop tempting me!!
