Here is it, first sunny day and fist test ride.
Shifts gear very smooth, didn't expect that en ride stiff en sharp.
Great!!!
I love it.
The tires wil be changed to normal black ones.
The stem a Thomson and a black bar.
And a Selle Italia saddle.
Still not sure about the stars and stripes.

Fork: Rock Shox SID XC C3 '99
Drivetrain: Shimano XTR M950/M952
Shifters and rear derailleur: SRAM 9.0 stars & stripes.
Wheelset: Mavic Crossmax
Seatpost: Thomson
Saddle: Serfas Lola
Stem and bar: Azonic
Barends: Specialized
headset: Tioga Alchemy

I like the tires and rear mech. (And I've heard that ESP 8 stuff works great.)

The bike's great and I knew a racer with one. (I almost bought a GT Avalanche over my Stumpjumper in '99.)

I think it would look even better with a red or a blue fork. That said, for a period fork, '99-00 Rock Shox SIDs are pretty good.

The SRAM set works great, I didn't expect that.
I have a set of black tires and maybe I'll put a white saddle on it.

Lovely bike, only change the 9.0 Betsy for the 9.0SL carbon (hey what's in my sparepartsbox....:))

And please put on the Michelin Wildgrippers (and give me the Spacialized tires....)

Think the frame looks best if nothing else is black..euh white.
