Nice. I've just acquired a 2006 frame with RP3 rear shock.

Searching for donor parts now...

Yup, it was nice, I sold it two weeks ago!

Brilliant bikes, only sold it as it didn't really get the use it deserved

Would buy another one if I could do it justice

I also had an '06 version, which I kitted out with Hope XC/Mavic wheels, Sram X9, Rockshox Revelation forks, Thomson and other bits of nice kit

Loved that bike too, but someone else liked it more than me & it's now AWOL

I usually build them with Hope, Thomson or Syntace, Mavic, Sram X9 or X0 that kinda stuff, but anything that works for you will work well on the 5, it's a very versatile bit if kit

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoyed both of mine

Been a long time, but I finally got it finished.

RS Revelations, 30sp SLX, Avid Elixir, Hope Pro II/Mavic 717s

It's even had a full refurb/respray from Orange for a very reasonable £200.

Just need to get it dirty now...

It's my first O5, built from frame up and have only run the Rev's, so can't compare to the Fox, sorry.
