1999 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp

Dirt Disciple
My old bike. Bought it new in August '99.

It was raced for two years, commuted on for two years, and was my one 'bike' from 2000-2006. Only two original parts. I can't part with it, and I keep it up for the odd ride to work, as backup, and so friends can ride if their bikes break.

Nothing fancy, but I do want to keep it alive. It's not a showpiece :D

Thanks a lot guys.

People stopped saying, "wow, that's a nice bike!" around 2002, and started saying, "wow, that's old!" about two years ago.

Right now it's keeping me fit. I'm just watching ReTread and riding the mag trainer.
