I've been hanging around in the darkness on the forum, and absolutely love the place! Thought I'd break cover with a pic of my c.2000 Orange P7 which I've just retired to possible singlespeed duties in the summer, or for sale depending on whether my garage needs the room.

I bought the frame around 2000, and it has been resprayed since then to the black it is now. Components came either from its predecessor (a '97 Kona Lava Dome, whose toptube snapped - ouch) or were bought seperately.

Running Magura Blues (which went on the Kona when V'Brakes came out as at that time you just couldn't find XT V's in the shops - must have been around '97) and a mixture of XT, LX and STX. Flite Ti's have been on all my bikes, but the seatpost is a cheapo job as I bent my Control Tech one and needed something quickly - being a student at the time I didn't have too much to spend! Rims are a variant of the Mavic 231, probably SUP's - on XT hubs. Forks are Manitou Spyders.

Her replacement is a Cannondale F4, and I've wanted a dale since I was about 15. Not a retrobike at all, but posted for the hell of it:
