Hello everybody

I can’t find an old one that I couldn’t afford anyway...

The newer ones that are still about are too small and carbon...

So when this just popped up for £250 I thought yes, that’ll do very nicely.

Now let’s hope it arrives safe and sound.

Yeah I thought the price was pretty good.

I’ve got loads of bits that were heading for an old 575 so they’ll just be diverted to this.

Mainly red ano so we’ll see how it looks...

Very cool indeed, always loved ARCs! What's your plan with this one?

Luckily have most of the parts in the shed for another build so it’ll be 1x10, xt, Reba rtl with red finishing bits (CK headset etc)...

...have red hubbed hope xc wheelset and red walled pana xc’s too.

Don't know how red details are going to go with frames white and turquoise and black decals but it sure sounds like it is going to be interesting combination.

I know exactly what you mean.

It’ll either work or it wont!

Ideally I’d go turquoise maybe with a bit of gold but my priority is getting it running before the summer.

The red will make it at least look like a consistent build and might make the frame ‘pop’.

Or it’ll look like a dogs dinner...

Red will look awesome, as long as the balance is right. Lots of little touches, but not big bold blocks of it, eg seatpost or anything like that. Stick to black there. And a bit different, which will be good.

(in my opinion...)
