Re: Build 3....Yeti ASR-SL!

Cheers Dicko10!
Apologies for the lack of updates, to busy working and planning a wedding to get to the computer with the latest. However, the build in the meantime has been coming along well.

Following my initial plan there have been a few changes but hopefully for the better.
It's now a rolling chassis just waiting for the drivetrain and we are good to go.... fingers crossed! :D

Love to hear you're thoughts guy's.... but here's a few pictures!

Race Face next Riser, Yeti Turquoise

Race face Turbine Stem, 70mm. Wanted to try and keep reach long enough, but no to long to keep it quick steering...

Easton XC70 Wheels....these things look amazing,

An absolutely budget blowing set of Hope Race Evo stealth brakes which are a work of art!

Thomson Seatpost, laidback.

Plus other bits including Race Face Nelson grips in Turquoise, Onza Skinwall Canis tyres and the current bike looking like this:

Cheers, that means a lot! :D :D :D Praise indeed!
Crank has just been ordered and now waying up what gears to run. Looks like I'll go full XT M8000 but debating dropping in an XTR mech. Hopefully finished this month!

Re: Build 3....Yeti ASR-SL!

Thanks guy's!
Ha, don't worry! I can feel a poll coming on between the skinwall Canis and some black cross marks I have.

The saddle's not staying, I stole it from my single speed to build it up. I'm not sure my backside could cope with it off road!

Cranks arrived today so that's tomorrow night planned to.

Appreciate the comments. Just waiting to order the gears and it should be finished. :D

Wow that's awesome! I like the skin walls, keep them fitted!

:? Seriously? They make the bike look like its have a identity crisis, "Am I a beach cruiser or a mountain bike".
