A few shots of the Balfa that I recently picked up. It was hardly used and spent most of it's life in someones garage. I bought it to ride, hence building it up with some contemporary parts, including 50mm stem and 780mm bar. First shot was how I got it. Second shot was the first ride, when I discovered just how terrible Rock Shox Psylos are! And third shot with a set of Manitou Nixon 145s that I picked up for it.
16.25" chainstays and a long fork don't make for the greatest climber, but it's super fun downhill even if the Hayes Comp brakes smell like they are about to burst into flames at any moment!!

Nice little plate welded on the inside of the chainstay to protect stay from damage from tyre:

Incredible condition!!

Don't know why someone would buy a frame like that and not ride it.
Takes me back to my days with the 2-Step!!
