Morning,

Yes, but keeping it steel. Five rigid handbuilt 26" bikes us probably a couple too many hence the sales of the ones that get ridden the least.

Decided i can't get on with the wideness. Width is much more noticeable on drier quicker trickier trails. Picked up bars and stem for £2.20 on ebay. Bars are much more comfortable and reassuring going through tight spots. sorted i think.

They are wide. I'm cutting 2-30 mm off mine this weekend I think.

Looks good.

Swapped out bontrager high rise bars for a nice abr scandium set. Perfect colour match! Will see how it goes this weekend. Nice and 'Old school' narrow.

With these fat tyres it looks like a scaled up 26er. A bit high on rolling resistance but boy does it stop and grip on the loose stuff. Bars are great. Really stable but with the short stem quick turning.

Oh and are SRAM mechs made out of cheese? Bent/twisted the X5 on this. Wasn't up to much and clipped it. Hanger still looks straight.
