Just a little update after the winter months of tinkering (and some of the summer ones!)
My new addition had its first proper ride today - Giant Anthem advanced (think 2005ish?), Rock Shox Sid, Deore drivetrain and some other bits to get it on the road
lovely bike, far better than I will ever be!
Next is my Zaskar Team - rebuilt it as I was never really happy: Pace Rc40 super light forks, old school 7 speed Deore drivetrain with alloy bolts and jockey wheels I had in the attic, white wall slicks top off the retro vibe and make it a really nice whippy commuter:
Lastly - not technically mine, but built up a Marin B17 frameset for a mate with some bits I had left over, with the intention he could upgrade them as he needed - turned out quite nice
