1999 Cove G-Spot long term project

Last year I bought a 1999 or so Cove G-Spot. It is in very rough shape including two cracks in the chainstays. I hope to one day swap out that piece from another frame. Basically I'm holding onto this frame with hopes of one day restoring it. I was wondering if anyone here has had or still has one of these early G-Spots. If so would love to see pictures. There is not much out there on early Coves. I love the old gusset welds on these frames. I have a old Stiffee with a similar design.

Re:

Great looking Coves! Shame about the cracks on the G-SPot. The Tightee looks right up my street too (off to ebay to search for one now!)

Re:

Thanks for the words. I love old Coves but cannot seem to find that much info on them. That Tightee is pretty rad. Yea the G-Spot is that old. Around 2000 and for sure in 2001 they went to Easton RAD tubing in the front. I like gussets. Also both of these frames have rear formula disc brake mounts.

The bar was produced that way from Race Face. It was their Ride line bar. Not sure when they made them I got this for 15 bucks on ebay.

Re:

Cool! I've owned several Coves over the years - I guess the earliest was a 2003/4 Handjob - I'd love something older though. Have a couple at the mo' (Hooker and STD) but they are more up to date. Visited the Cove bike shop in Vancouver last year and met the man himself. I was like a kid in a candy store :p
