Despite their well documented "quirks" I have always wanted to try a URT designed suspension bike.
Does the modern shock overcome any of the quirks?

The bike is a dream with the modern monarch shock - the platform damping allows the bike to sit where it should in the travel and not bob.
As a side note the bike is also really light and responsive. My only gripe is with the forks as I would like some with a little more travel, say 100mm.
