SS Dean Colonel

Old School Grand Master
I bought this frame a few weeks ago from a chap in Oregon. He was originally selling the whole bike and didn't want to split, but he eventually capitulated when it didn't sell.
It's taken a while to find the necessary bits and pieces, but I think I'm finally happy. I might swap out the forks for some Rebas, but then again, I might not...

Looks fast that Nick. How does it compare with your other steeds?

The frame is half a ninch shorter than the Soulcraft and built up with the rigid forks is nearly 2" shorter wheelbase. It's also very stiff pedallywise. It is very fast, very precise and nimble. It is also surprisingly stable at speed.
I tried it with Rebas today which seem to suit it more than rigid forks. The Vicious forks are going back where they belong.
