Troy I cant help you with a date of manufacture but thats a nice 'bow, you dont see too many of them around.

ty nathan i bought mine of ebay he wanted £155 and talked him into £110 think i got a bargain.

i love your bike.they are so nice to ride think mine is from the 90s, but all the gear changes are still great brake work fine.was thinking about updating some parts but think it looks great as it is
 
That was a bargain mate. I'd be tempted to leave it as it is on the whole perhaps just upgrading things as needed like when you need to change tyres chain cranks etc.
