Scott Vail 2000 or 1997?

Good Day Guys,
I wanted to show You all my everyday bike.
It is aluminium Scott Vail from 1999/2000 (99' on parts) - Or is It 1997? (I've seen yellow one with similar configuration), with little mod. on the way.
I already exchanged stem and bar on Syntace and Funn flat bar and rare wheel on Zac19/XLC with road cassette with 8 gears. I am looking for nice front fork from Z2 to Duke/Judy SL and seat post but there is a problem that 26,8. I hope I will be able to refresh and give him long second life after leaving the Pawn shop...

I have this exact bike. The frame is too big for me. I'm 5'10" with longish legs. Seems like yours is too small with the high seat. Mine seat is only an inch out of the stem hole. I didn't see where you are based but would you be interested in swapping frames if yours is actually small for you? I can check the actual size of mine if you are.
