I loved the colour of these when they were launched in '98. I even phoned Argos and asked for my bike to be re-sprayed that colour, but it was a no go. Toxic paints only available in the far east apparently. I didn't want to buy one then because it's "only a Lava Dome" , but I've finally got one, the colour still drives me wild and it rides just fine as a commuter. All I've changed from stock is the bar, stem, grips, saddle and post (tyres were already done)............

Good work, I've owned mine since new and it was the colour that did it for me as well. I've ridden it all over the place and it's now my trusty pub bike.
