like a lot of others i have got the ti` bug big time. idea for this build was to use as much ti` as i possibly can.

2012 van nicholas tuareg frame.
controltech ti` mania bars, stem and seat post.
controltech double play cranks.
sram XX front and rear mechs with ti` jockey wheels.
sram xx shifters.
ti` chain. i wouldnt buy one again as the weight saving is very small and not worth the very high price.
ti` 11-32 cassette.
chris king ti` cassette lock ring.
chris king hubs.
chris king ceramic bottom bracket.
chris king head set.
stans podium rims,
DT Swiss Aero Lite Spokes built with ti` nipples.
formula R1 racing brakes and rotors.
powercordz cables in I-link mini outers.
token full ti` skewers.
all bolts and washers are ti` and finished with a ti` bell!

i built the wheels myself and being my very first attempt i am pleased with results and didnt ruin anything.
the forks are most likely temporary till i can afford some decent suss` ones.
also the saddle is going to be changed although its more comfy than it looks.
i was going to use polished xtr m960 cranks(which i had) with a home brewed components ti` ring but was robbed like most other people. cheers dan you crook!!

it weighs 18lbs and 3 oz so very light and from the short rides so far its extremely nimble.

Ti-tastic and lovely indeed. Particularly like the detailing on the stem, thats a work of art in itself.

yes you are right its a hell of a bit of kit. it cost over £200 though and now i think about it i must be bananas! ha!

cheers guys, i got the stem from a dealer in taiwan on ebay. the prices were considerably better than an english dealer. the writing on the stem is etched into the metal and its very light. here is one on ebay from different dealer but nearly same price.

i got the seatpost, stem and bars at the same time so got a bit of discount.
