cheers. I wish it was 7.1kg all-in, but most of the weight is in the wheels and cranks anyway.

wish you hadn't mentioned 6.8 now... :lol: but I guess they're geared and this isn't

What are the v-brakes you are putting on, are they a matching set to the Paul levers?

I opted for a set of TRP M920's with Ti hardware. Reputed to be around the 150g mark, per wheel. And only £35 brand new... 8)

Thanks T, thought I'd give a different brand a go, and at £35 for the complete set ( plus shipping) it was a no brainer. There's not a huge amount of weight to be lost in the v-brake section of a bike so thought I could afford to take a small hit. :D
