It was decided that I needed a modern lightweight hardtail in my small fleet of bikes for cross country racing. The On-One Scandal 26er frame took my eye, and they were selling them at the discounted price of £179.99 (£100 off usual price) so I decided to buy one. I really like silver bikes and it was a bonus it was in this raw brushed finish and quite light at 3.5lbs for the frame. This has become a bit of a weightweenie project; I have weighed everything on my digital scales before building it up and it comes in at just over the 10.2kg mark. More to follow.

What forks? I like the look this build is going to be. Nice touch of green

Rock Shox Reba RL. Yes I think silver and a green work well together.

I also have some green Michelin Wildgripper Sprints I've been hoarding for a decade. But they are for gravel only.
