Getting back to the OP's question, the issue with ti frames isn't whether it is nice straight out of the box. Of course it is. And it isn't whether the welds look nice. Of course they do. The issue is whether the welds will stand the test of time. But as I understand it, Harryburgundy has never owned a bike for longer than three weeks, so he may not be the best qualified person to say! :wink:

Mmm...actually I have been known to keep a bike for as long as six months!
