Let me introduce THE TWINS.

FTW MATEGUA, White Ind. Hubs, German A forks, and on the large one, wooden Ghisallo rims with tubular tyres.

Yes Wynne, Ghisallo rims, made in wood, for tubular tyres and weighing in at 420 grams

Here you can only see road rims, but we had them build some 29er hoops. The first proto was a bit heavy, but these are very light. Very comfortable hoops, especially goon on alu stiff bikes....

Innit?

Well: build kit is pretty straightforward:

SRAM XO gruppo for the large one, XT for the other
White Industries hubs and cranks and BB
German A forks (Kilo aluminum and Excite Boost)
One has a Thomson stem, the other a Crank Bros
CK headsets
Answer bars
1 thomson 1 extralite posts
Ghisallo wooden rims with tubular tires on the large one, Sun and MAxxis tubeless tires on the other
