Ok iv made a small start on what will be my main San Andreas ride. Striped all pealing and unwanted decals/stickers off and de-assembled the frame.
Polished the 7005 alloy up with an industrial cutting past, IV found 7005 alloy doesn’t cut or shine as well as the 6061.
Cut a thread in the inner side of the swinging arm pivot tube and drilled oil way straight though as I do with all my Andreas’s, used 2 SRP mech break-off bolts to seal pivot tube and force lubrication onto the bushes.
Re- assembled and a nice new set off decals from Gil, Again changed the grey cycle lettering to red and used the old style head tube badge also because I prefer it.
