just finished putting it together after a few months of rounding up parts. a few little bits to finish but it is looking good so far :D (excuse the rank phone pics).

thanks mate, yep blue ring and some floating rotors with blue centers.
 
Not big on downhill so excuse my ignorance but should the front not have more gussetting around the headtube for such a hefty fork? And similarly, the extended rocker part to make the rear bigger travel, is the frame capable of withstanding that?

I do like it though, looks like a bike Arnie would ride!
 
the frame has some huge welds up front and the front of the frame is square tube, im guessing thats for stength. plus im not exactly a hardcore rider ;) the rear plates give the option of running 6 or 7 inch of rear travel, 6 being the original travel setting. iv had no issues with it so far. the ride is awesome as you can ride over stumps, rocks and small children and not feel a thing :D
 
Good to hear! Its a trusted design. Hate the 2011 stinky's hydroforming swoopy rubbish.

i dont like the newer ones as they look a bit girly :D i didnt bother as its only my commuting machine but il stick a picture up later in the work bikes section.
