M friend told me he could score this bike cheap, but we can't identify the make. The owner thinks it's an old Intense, but it doesn't look like any I've seen.

It resembles a mid 2000's Big Hit, but the swingarm triangle appears a little different from those I've seen.

Not sure of the age, but the bar ends made me think old school. Any ideas please?

IS brake mount on the swing arm and hose guides on the frame say it's built this century and thus you're unlikely to get much useful information in this section

Actually its 2005 or older with that swing arm, but its still a grom

A BIG heads up. Many thanks for that, and sorry for posting in the wrong area (bike age was unknown).

After I posted the question I went back to scanning photos via Google Images and since then discovered it being a big hit, 2005 is my guess. I did not know of the flaw though. The seller can keep it.
