Kinesis Virtue Decade

After riding a God awful Saracen Trace 1 which was too big for me I decided the time had come to treat myself to a proper off road beast, so spent some time browsing everyone's favourite auction site, and found the bike below, surprisingly he lived about five minutes from me, went round to see him, fell in love with it and handed over £450 and never looked back since.

It rides like a dream, keeps demanding more and it's a very comfy ride thanks to the Japanese Cromo. After buying it I found out that Kinesis had to change the name from Virtue to Virsa due to issues with Felt and as such they only made 50 10th Anniversary Virtue frames.

Yep believe it or not, I did originally offer him £400 for it and he declined, so ended up stumping up another £50, but I'm glad I did as it's such a joy to ride and is far more responsive and easier to ride than most of my riding buddies steed's, regardless of it being a steel frame. Nicely done btw and did you know there's a Facebook group for owners of Kinesis Decade's with some superb builds, I just love the wishbone seatstays and the skinny tubes.
