Just checked your site and trawled through your posts and found this rather exciting project.

Looks great and a fantastic spec. If I were to own a mountain bike kinda thing then this would be it!

Loving the adventurous, bold and unique builds that PopCycle is knocking out :D

Thanks Tel, I am really happy how the bike turned out and the ride characteristics. Most parts are better then expected, in particularly the fork, only the durability of the microSHIFT parts is still a question mark.
The PopCycle designs do stand apart in my opinion, both in colour as well as spec list, and I am glad you confirm that thought!

Really nice, colors could have been designed in the beginning of the '90s!

What's with the dents in the handlebar?

Nothing special, I guess. Just aesthetics.

Location: Mammoths deserve to be cloned. From what I've seen in 'Ice Age' they are jolly good sports.
I thought they were to provide a hand position, like some kind of Superman pose.

If Superman was a dwarf.

I tried that too. There is enough space and the bar is a sort of airfoil shaped at that position, making it thick enough to be comfortable. But the dents don't add to the comfort, they are too shallow, only 3 and too high. Personally I like the bar because of the airfoil shape, not the dents.
