My lovely soon to be wife expressed an interest in joining me on some off-road rides (she already has a road bike).
So I was keeping an eye out for a suitable frame - 16" or smaller, rim brake compatible, strong, but not too heavy, preferably including seatpost/seat collar.
A DMR Trailstar came up on here last week, I duly paid for it, and it arrived on Friday.
So Saturday morning dawned grey and drizzly, not a riding day, but definitely a tinkering day
Take one Frame:
Add a box of bits, wheels and tools:
Sometime later..........a (nearly) finished bike:
It still needs a chain, and maybe a shorter stem. Also the headset I used is rougher than a badgers behind, but will do for now.
Looks quite fun, I might have to take it for a 'test' in the woods
Too many bikes, not enough time!
