Sorry guys, not very retro but this forum is rather friendly and full of knowledgeable people so I thought I'd hang around although I don't own any retro bikes anymore 
I've had it a year now and I've tweaked it slightly
Suntour forks swapped for RockShox Recon TK Gold Air
SLX rear mech swapped for XT
Rear wheel: Hope Hoops (PRO 2 EVO) rear hub on Stans Crest ZTR rim
Front wheel: Hope XC hub on a Halo Combat rim (will be upgraded to match the rear next month)
XT Cassette
XTR Chain
Schwalbe Rocket Ron tyres
DMR V8 Pedals
Any other advice on components is welcome. I've been out of the bike loop for a while and I've recently quit smoking and I've been trying to get fit! I commute about 8 miles a day on the bike and this picture was taken as I crossed a railway bridge (just before I left the tarmac for some dirt) this morning.
I live in Oxford so if anyone fancies a blast around Shotover one weekend, give me a shout!
