This is my Bike that I normally use to Race, normally some XCO and Marathons when I have the Time

I´ve always loved Custom assemblys and this one is the Latest and there it is.

The Bike had so many updates that some of them I dont even remember.

I had installed a:

Tune Speedneedle Saddle(Broke it in a Race kind of crash! )
TA and Middleburn Blue Chainrings (the Crakset Looked great )
FRM Integral double chainring in 39T and 26T(Waited so long for this new BB30 Rotor)
Rotor Crankset with Titanium Axle but was not BB30
Other Tubular Tyres like Schwalbe Racing Ralph and Tufos but this Dugast are the Best
Crankbrothers 4 Ti Pedals Tuned with new Springs and pieces that reached 152gr
Soul Kozak Bar Ends(broke two Sets!!)
Hope Mono Mini Pro Brakes
Tufo Wheelset(this one every body loves it





And other things more...

I will post my other Bikes when possible and the most known Bike that was a Scott Spark that I made to reach 7760gr easy
Now went fat and as 9300gr

You wana know about the Tubular Tyres or the Dugast tyres it self?

About the Tubulars theres a small Pic that can be used to better explain part of the difference of ridind them:



About the Dugast they can not look very good or to every persons taste but due to their construction of cotton, so they ride like almost like Silk
They are very smooth on their ride compared with other brands that i´ve rode untill now. You really can use very low pressures like 23 or 25psi easy and more than that the tyre will slip instead of having increased traction
They have a negative side efect, is that they are expensive(around £80 each) and only Tufo(another reason why I like them) is that they can be easly repaired by them, other brands dont have that service and you simply cant open the tyre or make an easy repair like a Clincher Tyre converted to Tubless or not.

I didn't know you could get tubular tyres for MTB's, I'd only ever seen them used on road bikes

I like the look of the Dugast tyres, but as you say they are expensive.

The most I have spent on tyres was £55 each for Schwalbe UST tubeless Racing Ralph's & that was expensive enough!

I've run the Schwalbe's at 25psi with no problems so far, usually run them at slightly higher pressures (27 front/33 rear) it's only when I forget to top them up the pressure drops a little in them

Good to see someone else using Formula R1 brakes too, they are awesome, I did think about the carbon levers on my R1's but again, very expensive (even at trade prices!)

Yes, you could get them even on the Old days

I can tell you that even the other day I was bidding on a Set of new Rims "Wolber" and tyres also never used and they wore from the 90´s and Tubular

I use them also on the road bike because the way they ride is really great but, yes, have that side effect of cost.

I run 23 front and 25 on rear and I´m 79 kilos or 180 pounds

Yes, I had the Hope Pro and I liked them and always been a little suspicious of the reability of the R1´s due to several problems they wore having but after trying I said to my self, I should bought them long time!!

The carbon levers this ones they come as a extra and I think i can get them cheaper again, just not sure corrent availability but I can let you know as soon I can
