RC300 ... what to do....

Just taken posession of Awkward Kid's RC300.

Still not fully decided hot to do the build - whether should take RC38s and Pace stem off my F6 or just start up fresh....

In 2 minds as to whether I should use the red mint condition Hope Ti disc hubs I have, with some original minis, or if I should go more modern.

Original Mini's are THE breakthrough Hope disc brake design. And the wavey holey discs are the best looking ever too. I have them on my 2008 Voodoo and love them to bits, choice would be a no brainer on a period bike.

If you want to go more modern, I have a set of Mono M4's I could part with.

OK progress so far on this....

RC36 Evo IIIs located and should be here too long. Either these with integrated Pace stem, or RC38 Air Force IIs with RC41 stem.

Transmission will be SRAM Plasma and an M739 front mech

Bulb hubs - no progress there - so will prob. use the red ti-glides.

Will very much be following the laws of Pace for this one:

Hope BB,headset,hubs,QRs,Minis
X-lite bars/bar ends,seatpost,
Middleburn RS8 chainset.

So, apart from the bulbs, I need some Middleburn CD chainrings (black, red, Hardcote). I will be trying 2X9 though, so 30-42 I think.

Nods to modernity are UST rims (early ones) and tyres.
