Here's one to make the purists cry: my RC300 (F30016277), stripped down as a fixie

Horizontal dropouts,

I cut the RC31s down by 40mm and re-bonded to get the geometry right.

Only 8Kg and rides beautifully though :D

All the best,

I don't

I thought it looks a little squat, the 40mm off the forks explains it.

Today I will mostly be wearing black, and looking miserable.

But I won't let you see my cry. I'm too angry for that. This is vandalism.

I agree, but I wanted to run it as a more roadie position 72 degree parallel frame, that 40mm would swing the angles back to 67-68 degrees. Just shows the frame's versatility...

This is vandalism.
You're probably right, but I haven't cut or drilled anything and I do have all the other little parts lovingly stored.

I used to ride it with gears, but just couldn't take the rear brake hose rattling inside the Top Tube on every bump.
I'll put it back as a full (as possible) UK off-road build soon :D I just thought I might upset a few people first...;)

All the best,

I like your style (and the bike) :)

I assume they were originally 440mm -> 400mm (did this myself for an Orange Vit T2) and not 420mm -> 380mm

I like the look of it ;)
