So, I finally finished this build bloody ages ago.

It was previously posted under this thread but thought i'd post a fresh one.

It saw me to work every day through the winter... culminating in the rear brake caliper disintegrating due to the ravages or salt... the boys in barnoldswick replaced this under warranty so all good!
Took me a while to decide which bars to go with. I wanted something wide(ish) as i love the 720mm bars on my Pitch. The Sunlines fit the bill perfectly.

All I need to do is buy a black layback post, but the silver one from my Lava Dome doesn't look too out of place for now.

Oh and maybe replace the 9s with 10s...

Not a lot of love for my decade it would seem. Gave it a damn hard thrashing today at hamsterley forest, folded my chainring on the first descent, so quick nip back to 'Wood n Wheels' at the trailhead & he even let me use his workshop to bolt my new ring back on!
Here's what it looks like these days...

What exactly happened to the brakes? Nice neat frame as well. How tall are you btw, 20" frame and that seat would be up around my throat!

Very nice indeed. I'm putting the finishing touches to mine at the moment. She's shaping up pretty nicely, but I think yours might look better :-o

If you're referring to the fact the brakes have changed... I bought a hope v-twin for my genesis croix de fer, got it with m4 calipers and swapped them with the x2's from this.

I'm 6'2". When I climb, the seat goes up higher than pictured!

Cheers for the comments!
