For sale due to the fact the I now need a hybrid/commuter bike.

I built up this bike in 2007 the Azonic Xtension Propulsion frame is a 18.5" suitable for Agressive XC/Freeride - it's an absolute joy to ride and has a full Horst link rear suspension just like the old Turner 5spot. This frame has 4" of rear travel and originally retailed for £999.

Review of the frame can be found here:

Azonic Propulsion Review

ALL COMPONENTS ARE AS NEW - I've only ridden this bike 3 times it is absolutely mint.

Photos of the bike can be found here:

Forks are Marzocchi XC 600 140mm travel with remote lock out, review is here:

Marzocchi XC 600 Review

The forks really match the back end and I took a lot of time specifying them.

Break down of component list:

18.5" Azonic Xtension Propulsion frame (£999)
Marzocchi XC 600 140mm travel forks (£300)
Full 2007 LX disk brake groupset (£499)
LX Hubs on Mavic 317 disk rims, hand built (£150)
Easton EA50 110mm stem and EA30 low risers (£50)
Lock on grips (£10)
Hope Tech 1 1/8 aheadset (£65)
Hope Head Doctor (£15)
Azonic HD 350mm Seatpost (£35)
Specialised Body Geometry Saddle (25)
SRAM Flak Jacket cables (£35)
Panaracer 2.1 trailraker tyres front and back (£40)

DX Pedals are NOT included.

So, in total this bike cost me £2,223 to build up, so I'm expecting some genuine offers here as I'm not going to let it go for pennies. No swaps or exchanges I'm looking to sell for cash.

I am located in Oxford, viewing welcome.

ive always liked the azonic frames
always wanted a samurai frame, for years

how does this ride?
looks very nice
what sort fo trails do you normally take it on?

Appologies, I've put it on the sale section of the website now (so moderator can archive this thread if he likes).

I've only ridden it three times once around Bwetsy Coed and twice around Dalby Forrest.

It rides very neutral which is exactly what you want for aggressive cross country with some downhill sections, the tyres are really well suited and the brakes are awesome. I set it up so that I was using the bulk of the travel but I never bottomed it out, the rear fox shock is very progressive in it's travel. To be honest this bike is faster than my nerves will allow me to go.

Also not half bad up the hills, very little bob and the suspension aids quicker ascent on the rockier trails. A straight bar and some bar ends would help further.

Cheers.

my mate kaya has one of these , stunning little dh/xc bike ,really underated frames.
