yeah true
but i read that it *can* warp the crown when done twice (that is at least once more after the first time)

but yes, you shoudve thought of this!! :lol:

cant be all that bad but you risk it failing just past the weld :?

thats what i was thinking
as long as the stem clamps across the welds
i.e the extra bit and the original bit


erm so now effing get it built!

So many niggley little bits to sort out :?
Rear wheel rim to fit
Rear wheel adaptors to source
Steerer to weld up
etc etc
I might paint it while i'm waiting :D
I'm thinking Kawasaki green with black or orange decals? 8)
Need to source a new headtube badge if i do paint it

Bombed a few bits together today :D
Cranks are binding for some reason so i'll have to sort that out :?
Feels really sort with the 50mm stem.
Feels comfy to sit on though 8)
Also, it seems i need 5-6mm spacers for the front caliper?
Disc was nowhere near :roll:
