I've had this kicking around for a while but only just got it how I'm happy with it. Frame was a cheap ebay impulse buy, I had the forks on another bike and the rest was mainly new stuff with some bits from the parts bin. Weight is (roughly) 28lb, without the mahoosive DX pedals

Front mech set up was a real pain in the ass - couldn't get it so the cable didn't rub on the swingarm - but the e-type mech sorted that. Now it's riding well I'm really happy with it. Climbs pretty well and descends even better.

Not seen one of these before, but was a bit in my wilderness years.

Looks like a marin frame? Ie simple and effective.

What's the travel on it?

It's 100mm at both ends. I didn't really notice these frames when they were new, although I don't think they sold all that well. Reviews that I've found say they're good value for money - pretty much a Santa Cruz Superlight but heavier. Retailed at £600 frame-only in 2004.

yeah i was going to say superlight.
i like it, wouldnt a low band mech have been ok?
maybe we should start a club roost owner thread
