Every so often I see something that takes my fancy, and think about maybe selling this. Then I go for a ride and forget the idea!

Very very nice. I like the SS build best, and that paint job is gorgeous.

FWIW my HR frame weighs in exactly the same as yours quoted above. A few 100 grams more than my other boutique frames, but that is not what this builder is about.

Enjoy!!

Well just had to skim the thread since you pointed it out.
I quite like it :)
and the bit on the seat tube isn't some fancy tie wrap, so that answer a question I was going to add.
Do you know why it's reinforced like that and what the actual tubing is (coming from a tubing thread).
Anyways I see some links to go read, that's Sunday's reading for me.

I don't know what the piping is, but it feels remarkably similar to this; http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... ight=salsa

made by the same chap ten years earlier.
I'd imagine the seat tube reinforcement is there fot the same reason Dekerf, and others , do it; With all those tubes to join in one area, with all that heat, a non heat treated collar isn't going to be adversly affected.

My CK has a very similar arrangement.

The strange thing is there is no noticeable step internally :?

Dan (Danson67) thought it an odd addition too!
