mine lasted ages! did 2 frames with it and a couple little bits

Yup, went with the instructions, and it did a couple of little patches, then tried reapplying, leaving it on longer and still it only did a couple of small patches. What were marin putting in their paint?

actually when i did the swingarm of one of my frames it took a lot of effort and nitromors to get it done
had to scrape a lot of it, primer

scraping works though after the nitromors has weakened it

I was trying to avoid scraping as much as possible to make my life easier if I do decide to go for polished.
