dont ask where im ordering from, as they are not meant to be coming to the UK as a full bike.

:shock: what do you reckon the width is on those tyres, i'd say there around as big as a old rover metro ;)
 
cheers, i cant wait either.

i looked long and hard for what i wanted, and an aluminum snow bike was at the top of my list, especially as i really loved those surly pugsly steel snow bikes.

looking forward to a bad winter now.......though this will be used year round too

Good on you dude. Look forward to a carpark test ride!

I can see the advantages of the bike in foul weather but will it be compromised on dry trails? Not being an argumentative sod, genuinely interested.
 
nah, it seems there are plenty of fat bike owners in the US that ride theres daily, on all terrain, there not just sand/snow machines.

mine will be used for everything. most of my local rides are on flat land of mixed terrain, so pushing a 34lb bike around them isnt a problem, though i will be looking forward to those muddy, snowy days too.
