Great bike, the best of Ti frames! Big fan here too with an early lucky strike, surprised weight is up at 22 pounds with the rigid fork, mine is 20 or 9.0kg with Pace Race Air force forks, but then Thomson stems are heavy as will the 12-34 XT mech be. XTR V breaks are heavy too! What are the spins like fer weight??

Yes bars and stem are quite heavy, but most of the flab is in the wheels and hefty innertubes! I'll be keeping the wheels but might be swapping some other bits and putting a Pace RC31 fork on there instead of the Magma.

i should get some pics of mine...it's not really retro but i do fu*kin loves it! 2001 frame and 2006 forks and 2010 parts..how many airbornes are out there fellow retro bikers?
