Hoping to get a 24x2.5 in the rear, front will take a 24x3.0 no problem but may be a 24x2.7, going to be using Halo rims.

Found a couple of pics of 24x24 Big Hits (opposed to 24x26) for inspiration, will stick them on here in a wee while

Did you get the direct mount stem with the forks or will you be using a 'normal' style of stem bud?

Got a direct mount oversize stem, would have liked to have used a normal stem but dont have enough steerer.

Heres some Big Hits running 24's front and rear :)

Using Hope 203mm (8"), not floaters though, solid discs.

Got the fork legs built up and fitted thismorning, XT rear hub arrived, also bunged the seatpost in and fitted some Intense stickers.

Pretty light so far, feels like it's about 30lb

Got the leg protectors, just not fitted in the pics  , going to be ordering these maybe later :)

Next spend will be handlebars, rims, wheels built and tyres bought and fitted.
Rear caliper fits stright on with the Magura adaptor i bought but front is miles out so may need to start from scratch and make an adaptor from a bit of plate.
