Black has more going for it than you think, tinterweb says so....
Black is associated with power, fear, mystery, strength, authority, elegance, formality, death, evil, and aggression, authority, rebellion, and sophistication. Black is required for all other colours to have depth and variation of hue....without black you have nothing

@jimmy: fantastic work so far. Get your dad to spray it a unique colour of your choosing. Subaru metallic blue rear frame up against silver with black bits and contrasting decals perhaps?

coming along nicely. You can save a lot of weight with the right wheel/tyre/tube combo, cassette too, if thats what your going for.
And it appears someone has a lot of spare time at the moment, what with designing weight charts and researching colours :shock:

I'm not really going for a lightweight build, just thought it would be interesting to compare the mixed bag of bits and bobs that Splatter put together for MM19 with a reputedly top line group set, so far there hasn’t been any great surprises accept for maybe some stuff not really yielding much weight....And yes, Spud does seem to be less rushed at work at the moment....

In, an XTR M950 front hub at 135g on a NOS Campagnolo ATEK rim at 412g + 32 DB spokes & nips at 207g. Subtotal 754g
Out, the Parallax rear hub & wheel at 1006g
