** Canfield EPO - Carbon 29er **

Re:

Funny how we all see things differently.... would be a boring place if we all did everything the same though!

I'm not putting any other colour on the frame, the forks will stand out enough, the rest is either black, grey, silver or white.

I did think about it however.... Salsa do a lime green seat clamp that would match the dial tops and axle on the forks and I have some bottle bolts that would match too. I can always change it up a little later if I think it needs it, but for now I think the forks are enough! ;)

The stealth rear axle is here as is the top half of the Cane Creek 40 headset, but not the bottom bearing and crown race which is all I'm waiting on now.

Have an 'Invisiframe' protection kit for the forks to fit, and then I have to strip them to change the travel as they come set at 150mm out the box.... they need to be 140mm for the frame

So very true! :D
Nevertheless I am sure I will like your build since I like every other before this one!

Re:

The last part arrived this morning, bottom bearing and crown race... should have been here on Wednesday.

It's a very different looking beast compared to the Black Sheep, but I'm hoping it's going to be a fun bike to ride!

I'll get a few pics outside see how it looks in the daylight, can't ride it in anger yet as fork travel needs to be dropped from 150mm (as they come out the box) to 140mm. Have ordered some clamps as I don't have anything to hold the air cartridge in the vise to stop it from turning, once they arrive I'll get them stripped and then I can take it for a proper blast!

Re:

Moved round to the front of the house, out of the direct sunlight and a more realistic look where it appears very black and very shiny!

The curves of the frame are Black Sheep-esque I guess, but it's a very different looking result now it's finished.

Actually feels lighter than the Black Sheep, except for the front end, but I doubt there's much in it between them!

Had to take an extra 2 links out of the chain, so the back end must be shorter than the Sheep even with its sliding dropouts, and I have a bit more reach with the longer top tube, so should be more playful! :D

Lovely garage! Do you ride them all? Which one is your favorite?
