Santa Cruz Superlight

Was looking at a superlight frame the other day, too many projects on at the moment though.

Looking forward to seeing this and what you do with it

This is to replace the Superlight I had around ten years ago, which I stupidly let go!
It's black anno, unlike my original which was the burnt orange colour.

Picked the frame up on Friday and the seller threw in a load of other bits too, which is nice.

I'll get some pics and info of the build as soon as can get bloody pics sorted, computer is acting up.

Re:

I’ve just finished building one! First proper ride out today and pretty pleased with it. It’s a mk1 frame I think (no replaceable drop out) and built up mainly with bits from the early 2000’s. I’ll try start a post tomorrow and stick some pics/ spec up. Looking forward to seeing this build!

Re:

This is how my ebay purchase looks... only keeping the frame and flogging the other bits.

Components have been nicked from the Manitou project as I'm changing that up a bit, when it comes back from the menders! Mostly new parts for this one, there's also a NOS Sram 9.0 front mech and orange Ritchey wcs grips to go in the build box.

More updates when I've given the frame a good scrub.

Re:

Still waiting for the Ritchey WCS headset and gear cables to show up.

Lobbed a few bits on at the weekend, and it's now getting the Halson's off my Trek instead of some Sid's.

Crap shot as ever, I don't like to disappoint.
