Ibis Bowti restomod 1997

Re: Ibis Bowti restomod

I settled for some modern 26" rims, they match the fork and quality is topnotch. 410's were an option, those are slightly lighter but also a little less wide, so went with these 471's.
Added some 160mm XT rotors and Salsa NoLogo quick releases to the mix.
Send this lot to the wheelbuilder this weekend so I hope to have wheels in a couple of weeks!

Re: Ibis Bowti restomod 199?

Nice looking project and some nice parts too  I really like those forks.

Confused about brakes though!? disc wheels, disc only forks and v levers and cables :?

currently planning on using Pauls Klampers, long pull option. I like the fact they're mechanical and they suit the build imo
