1997 Voodoo Zobop - My 'borderline' full suss'er

No dramas with the spring. As you might be able to see from the photo, I just had to screw the adjuster on a bit more (than the other spring). I don't appear to have bottomed out the shock either since fitting the spring so I assume it's got the right amount of spring rate now.

Red corners? I thought the SST 98 had a grey-blue (kevlar) corners?

Some more finishing touches were added over the weekend: WTB SST 98, (27.0) Ritchey seat post (to match the Ricthey rims) and a NOS late 90's Crud Guard

So I attended a Pedalhounds multi stage enduro today on the Zobop. Despite it being my first enduro style event and having the oldest bike there it was a lot of fun...although I was never going to win anything especially when you have the likes of (The) Brendan Fairclough competing!

The latest addition to the bike is a Azonic Shorty Deluxe stem. It's slightly longer (67mm) than the World Force one (40mm) which accounted for the steering being slightly too twitchy for me. The frame definitely needs a respray though and some repro decals.

Hello @Whatmot1 and others. I am fiddling with an identical Zobop but snapped the seappost clamp. It has no size on it so I wondered of anyone knew what size I need?

Great idea MM but this bad ass is a URT so no guarantee they’ll be the same- but never the less a very strong starting point using a front mech to help size up

Sadly I don’t have mine any more to measure up as I sent the whole front end to someone on here who had a tatty frame but complete bike
