2002 Rocky Mountain Blizzard

Re: 2002 Rocky Mountain Blizzard build

Been a bit busy over the holidays but managed to get the fox forks fitted today, which meant i could get the wheels on and get the bike stood up :)
I was going to use a set of xtr wheels i have, but the fox forks have a bolt through axle, so had to use the mavics instead :|
It was a bit cold this morning so started putting it together indoors, here are some more pics.

With the wheels fitted.
The forks seem to raise the front a bit and not sure if i can reduce the travel on the forks, but run them with lots of sag so i should be ok when im on it :| If i was keeping it i would probably change it, but they should be fine just for a ride or two...

Re: 2002 Rocky Mountain Blizzard build

Just an update. Just found my camera and as i have just finished building the RM up in time for the school holidays i thought i would take a quick shot of it as it is now. I will be out on it a bit over the holidays with my daughter so i will take a few better shots when the sun shines.

You have to excuse the cables as i just whipped it together in the end so i could go ride with my daughter. The original intention was to have a quick ride then sell the frame to a friend, so probably wont bother sorting it as i will be stripping it soon :)
